BIOGRAPHY

REMOVE SILENCE is a band from Sao Paulo, Brazil, formed in 2007 by bassist/vocalist ALE SOUZA and keyboardist FABIO RIBEIRO.

The debut album - "FADE" - was released in Brazil in September 2009, via Dynamo Records, obtaining excellent response both from public and press, in Brazil and worldwide, with articles and commentaries on magazines and websites always highly favorable.
Produced, recorded and mixed by the band in The Brainless Brothers Studio (Sao Paulo) and mastered by MAOR APPELBAUM in Los Angeles, the album features 10 original songs, plus a new version of JEFF BUCKLEY’s “Dream Brother”.
The album was accompanied by a 30-min video documentary - “BATS IN THE BELFRY” – and by the Official Videoclip of “Fade”, which was on MTV BRAZIL and also on MTV USA, JAPAN, AUSTRALIA, FRANCE, GERMANY, BELGIUM, etc.
One of the tracks of “Fade” (The End Has Begun) was included on the compilation “NEW BLOOD VOL. VI” of the HELLFEST label (UNIVERSAL MUSIC).
Soon after, the band signed for the release of “FADE” in the UNITED STATES, CANADA, and MEXICO. The album was released in those territories on September 21 2010, via METALEDGE RECORDS.
The band was noted as REVELATION by some of the main Brazilian rock magazines. Critics point the band as one of the most ORIGINAL and INNOVATIVE of the Brazilian scenario today.
In 2011, REMOVE SILENCE was pre-indicated to the "GRAMMY USA" in two categories: “BEST ROCK ALBUM” with “Fade”, and “BEST HARD ROCK PERFORMANCE” with the song “Pressure”.
In 2012, REMOVE SILENCE released its second album - “STUPID HUMAN ATROCITY”. Produced, recorded and mixed by the band and mastered by MIRO RODENBERG in Germany, the album contains 13 original tracks and presents yet more sonic innovations, as the band kept its main objective – make music as a form of art.
In 2013, the band released the EP "LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN", containing 7 tracks. Among these are remixes of tracks from the album "S.H.A.", new versions of songs totally re-recorded and also unreleased material. The EP brings NATACHA CERSOSIMO (singer of the band TOY SHOP) as a special guest for the track "Taste Of Iron (Analogue Remake)". This track, recorded exclusively with the tiny synthesizers of the KORG monotron/monotribe series, had also its Videoclip showing the production process.
More videos joined the release of the EP "L.P.O.H.", like the video-lyric for the track "EWTFTP." and the High Quality Video Series called "REHEARSAL SESSIONS", with the band playing live some of the tracks from "S.H.A." during rehearsals in studio. Other live performances can be seen through the band's main channels on the internet. All tracks from all albums are also available, in high quality and with lyrics in subtitle format.
In 2014, the band had a line-up change with the ingression of DANILO CARPIGIANI (guitars/vocals) and LEO BAETA (drums). Simultaneously, the composing and recording processes for new material have begun.
The result is the new EP "IRREVERSIBLE", released in August 2015. Produced by Fabio Ribeiro and Ale Souza and mastered by BRENDAN DUFFEY in USA, the EP contains 6 original tracks. Simultaneously, the Videoclip for the track "Irreversible", directed by DUCA MENDES and AMERICO FAZIO, was released.
In late 2015, the band was invited to record all the soundtracks for the RAMONA 89 radio show, one of the most acclaimed shows of 89FM (the biggest rock radio station in Sao Paulo), presented by LUKA. The track "Irreversible" is also used as background music for the show, which is broadcasted daily.
In January 2016, the band released a new Lyric Video for the song "Frequencies", from its most recent EP.  This release contains a compilation of photographs from some concerts and recording sessions in studio.
In February, the band released a new video series presenting rehearsal sessions from its most recent EP.
During 2016/2017, the band played in many important festivals in Brazil, like Araraquara Rock (with the bands Inky, King Bird and Paura), Sampa Music Festival (with NX Zero, Gloria and Pagan John), Rock é Solidariedade - MRossi 89 FM (with Ira, Far From Alaska, Ego Kill Talent and Super Combo), Rock Lounge Expo Music - MRossi 89FM (with Sioux 66, Supla, Bula and Toyshop), Primeiro Festival da Revista Teclas & Afins (event at the EM&T Music Institute), Shimano Fest 2017 (popular skate event at the Jockey Club, Sao Paulo), etc. Beyond those, many concerts were realized in traditional venues of Sao Paulo, like Manifesto Bar, Stage Pub, Ton Ton Jazz Club, Super Loft, and more.
In June 2017, the band released a new single - "Raw" - as a teaser for the upcoming album of the same name. This single was released on the most popular radio shows of 89FM - RAMONA 89 and HEAVY PERO NO MUCHO - and featured in some of the most acclaimed Brazilian rock playlists on Spotify, reaching a very high number of plays.
In 2018, the band played again at the Araraquara Rock Festival (with the heavy metal band ANGRA) and also at Shimano Fest (this time at Memorial da America Latina, Sao Paulo). The band also played with the pop band FRESNO at the Carioca Club, a very traditional venue in Sao Paulo. Two more singles were released - "Middle Of Nowhere" and "laser Gun", featured again on the popular radio shows RAMONA 89 and HEAVY PERO NO MUCHO/89FM.
In January 2019, the band released its fifth studio album - RAW. With interviews in radio shows such as PEGADAS DE ANDREAS KISSER (89FM) and É NOIZE SESSIONS (All TV), the band continues to promote the album with its new show format, playing at traditional venues of the Sao Paulo scene, such as Aurora Club (Mariutti Metal Fest), Manifesto Rock Bar (Budweiser Party), Breve Pompeia, and more. 
In June, REMOVE SILENCE played as opening act for the american band LIVING COLOUR, at the Tropical Butanta venue in Sao Paulo, during the band's 30 year anniversary of the album Vivid. 
In august, the band played for the third consecutive time at the Shimano Fest, again at the Memorial da America Latina in Sao Paulo.
And in November, the band was invited as opening act for SCOTT STEPP (CREED), playing at the famous venue "Audio" in Sao Paulo.
In 2020 and 2021, new videos were released, as the cover version for "Enjoy The Silence", a hit from DEPECHE MODE, with images taken from concerts of the "RAW" tour.
A new series of "Rehearsal Sessions" videos recorded at the Family Mob Studios and appearances as guests in virtual presentations such as Mariutti Metal Xmas and Heavy Talk Festival were also released.
The band released a collab playing the song "The Hand That Feeds" from the American band NINE INCH NAILS with the presence of Hugo Mariutti (SHAMAN), Mario Fabre (TITÃS) and Fabio Zaganin (RADIO TAXI / ANDRE CHRISTOVAM).
Still in 2021, Ale Souza and Fabio Ribeiro produced 2 remixes for the artist Felipe Machado (VIPER), included in his album FMX, along with great names of the Brazilian electronic scene.
In 2022, REMOVE SILENCE is back with a new single.
"On The Edge In South America" is the first of the tracks recorded during the pandemic period. The other tracks will be released during the course of 2022. The first track is being released with a Videoclip based on animation produced by the band.

- A banda REMOVE SILENCE foi formada em 2007 por ALE SOUZA (baixo/vocais) e FABIO RIBEIRO (teclados/sintetizadores).
- O álbum de estréia "FADE" foi lançado no Brasil em setembro de 2009 através da gravadora DYNAMO RECORDS, obtendo excelente resposta de público e imprensa, no Brasil e no exterior, com artigos e comentários sempre muito favoráveis em revistas e web sites.

O EP traz ainda a participação especial de NATACHA CERSOSIMO, vocalista da banda TOY SHOP na faixa “Taste Of Iron (Analogue Remake)”. Esta faixa, gravada exclusivamente com os sintetizadores analógicos das séries KORG monotron/monotribe, ganhou também seu Video Clipe, ilustrando de maneira descontraída o processo de produção.
- Outros registros em vídeo acompanharam o lançamento do EP "L.P.O.H.", como o VideoLyric para a faixa “EWTFTP” e a Série de Vídeos em alta qualidade entitulada "REHEARSAL SESSIONS", com a banda tocando faixas do álbum "S.H.A." durante seus ensaios em estúdio. Outros registros em vídeo com diversas performances ao vivo podem ser vistos nos canais da banda na internet. Todas as faixas de todos os álbuns também estão disponíveis, em alta qualidade e com todas as letras em formato legenda.
- Em 2014, a banda passou por uma reformulação em sua formação, com a entrada de DANILO CARPIGIANI (guitarras/vocais) e LEO BAETA (bateria). Simultaneamente iniciou-se o processo de composição e gravação de novo material. O resultado deste processo foi o EP "IRREVERSIBLE", lançado em agosto de 2015. Produzido por Fabio Ribeiro e Ale Souza e masterizado por BRENDAN DUFFEY nos Estados Unidos, o EP contém seis faixas inéditas e apresenta a banda apostando mais uma vez em diversidade e ousadia. Simultaneamente, foi lançado o Video Clipe oficial para a faixa "Irreversible", dirigido por DUCA MENDES e AMERICO FAZIO.
- No final de 2015, a banda foi convidada para gravar todas as trilhas sonoras e vinhetas do programa RAMONA 89 da 89 FM (São Paulo), um dos programas de maior audiência da emissora, apresentado por LUKA. A faixa "Irreversible" também é usada como BG para o programa, que vai ao ar diariamente.
- Em janeiro de 2016 a banda disponibilizou um novo Lyric Video para a música “Frequencies”, extraída de seu mais recente EP. Este registro contém uma compilação de fotos de alguns shows e gravações em estúdio ocorridas no ano de 2015.
- Em fevereiro, a banda lançou uma nova série de vídeos apresentando sessões de ensaio.
- Durante todo o ano a banda se apresentou em festivais importantes como o Araraquara Rock (juntamente com as bandas INKY, KING BIRD e PAURA), Sampa Music Festival (com NX ZERO, GLÓRIA e PAGAN JOHN), Rock É Solidariedade - MRossi 89 FM (com IRA, FAR FROM ALASKA, EGO KILL TALENT e SUPER COMBO), Rock Lounge Expo Music - MRossi 89FM (com SIOUX 66, SUPLA, BULA e TOYSHOP), Primeiro Festival da Revista Teclas & Afins (Evento realizado no EM&T). Ainda foram realizados shows em casas tradicionais do circuito de rock paulistano como o Manifesto Rock Bar, Stage Pub e Super Loft.
- Em 2017, a banda participou do Shimano Fest no Jockey Club de São Paulo, além de realizar diversos shows em casas tradicionais. Foi lançado também o Single/Vídeo para a faixa "Raw", apresentado em primeira mão nos programas de maior audiência da 89FM/SP - RAMONA 89 e HEAVY PERO NO MUCHO. A faixa foi uma das mais executadas nas playlists Pátria Rock e Palco Underground do Spotify, figurando ao lado de grandes nomes do rock nacional.
- Em 2018, a banda voltou a participar do Festival Araraquara Rock, ao lado da banda ANGRA. Neste mesmo ano, realizou um show ao lado da banda FRESNO na famosa casa Carioca Club em São Paulo, além de participar novamente do Shimano Fest, desta vez no Memorial da América Latina. Neste mesmo período, foi lançado no programa Heavy Pero No Mucho/89FM o Single para a faixa Middle Of Nowhere. Em 23 de Novembro, mais um Single foi lançado - Laser Gun. 
-Em Janeiro de 2019, a banda lança ‘RAW’, seu quinto trabalho de estúdio. Com entrevistas nos programas PEGADAS DE ANDREAS KISSER (89FM) e É NOIZE SESSIONS (All TV), a banda segue divulgando seu novo show com apresentações nas tradicionais casas de shows da cena paulistana como Aurora Club (Mariutti Metal Fest), Manifesto Rock Bar (Budweiser Party), Breve Pompéia entre outras.
Em Junho, a banda realizou o show de abertura para a banda norte-americana LIVING COLOUR na casa de shows Tropical Butantã de São Paulo, durante sua passagem pela América do Sul em comemoração de trinta anos do lançamento do álbum Vivid.
Em Agosto, a banda tocou pela terceira vez consecutiva no Shimano Fest, novamente no Memorial da América Latina em São Paulo.
E em Novembro, Remove Silence foi a banda convidada para a abertura do Show de SCOTT STEPP (CREED) que aconteceu na badalada casa de shows "Audio", também na cidade de São Paulo.
- Em 2020 e 2021 foram lançados novos vídeos como o cover de "Enjoy The Silence", sucesso da banda inglesa DEPECHE MODE, com imagens extraídas durante os shows de divulgação do mais recente trabalho "RAW". 
Uma nova série de vídeos de ensaio "Rehearsal  Sessions", gravada no estúdio Family Mob, além de  participações virtuais como no Mariutti Metal Xmas e Festival Heavy Talk, também foram divulgadas.
